On a spring afternoon in Pomeroy, Iowa, a dispute between two brothers escalated into a tragedy that ended the life of 59-year-old Anthony Hinners. The events of April 9, 2022, unfolded outside a residence at 210 Ontario St., where an argument over a car that wouldn't start spiraled out of control. Anthony's older brother, Michael Hinners, then 66, was on the front porch during the disagreement.
