Cedric Roy Craft, a 39-year-old resident of Waterloo, Iowa, lost his life due to gun violence. The incident occurred on Monday, December 11, 2017, and he succumbed to his injuries the following day, December 12, 2017.

Craft was shot during a burglary and was subsequently hospitalized at an Iowa City hospital, where he received treatment for his injuries. Despite medical efforts, he did not survive and passed away on Thursday at the hospital.
