In the early hours of May 8, 2017, a night in Roswell, New Mexico, turned tragic for Robert Stotts, a 27-year-old Caucasian male. An altercation at an Allsup's convenience store located near South Main Street and East Hobson escalated to a fatal conclusion. Shortly after 1 a.m., the dispute ended with Stotts suffering a gunshot wound. He was quickly transported to a local hospital, but the injury proved to be too severe, and he succumbed to it.
