On May 29, 2021, a fatal shooting occurred at the GreenTree Inn in Santa Fe, New Mexico, resulting in the death of 59-year-old Marty Little. The incident began when officers were called to the hotel around 1 p.m. on Saturday in response to a report of gunfire. Upon arrival, they found Little in the parking lot, who had suffered a gunshot wound to the head.
