Raven Iron Lightning Scott, age 27, male, was a Native American man from Santa Fe whose life ended before dawn on May 12, 2025. Just after 3:30 a.m., police responded to reports of gunfire in a downtown city parking lot near Water Street and Don Gaspar Avenue, steps from the Plaza. Officers found Raven Iron Lightning Scott with at least one gunshot wound and he was pronounced dead at the scene, the stillness of the empty lot broken only by flashing lights and the taped-off perimeter that marked ...
