In the early morning hours of August 1, 2020, the promising life of 18-year-old Fedonta Mikel J.B. White, a talented male basketball star from Santa Fe, New Mexico, was tragically cut short. Known to his friends and family as "JB," he was just a week away from starting his journey as a Division I basketball player at the University of New Mexico.
