James F. Douthard, aged 42, was killed on August 23, 2015, in Chicago. His murder was part of a series of violent incidents involving the "Wicked Town" faction of the Traveling Vice Lords street gang. Douthard's killing was one of many carried out by members of the gang as part of their efforts to protect their drug-dealing operations and assert dominance in Chicago's West Side, particularly in the Austin neighborhood.
