Labyron Marvin Carr, also known as "Capo," was a 22-year-old rapper affiliated with Chief Keef's Glo Gang who was tragically killed in a drive-by shooting on July 11, 2015, in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood. The shooting occurred around 1:45 p.m., and Carr was struck in the hip and back. He was transported to Northwestern Memorial Hospital, where he was later pronounced dead.
Following the shooting, the suspects fled recklessly, leading to a tragic incident where they struck and killed a 13-month-old boy, Dillon Harper, who was in a stroller as his mother waited for a bus. The child was taken to the University of Chicago Comer Children's Hospital, but succumbed to his injuries.
Police questioned two men in connection with the case, but no arrests were immediately made. A vigil was held to honor both Carr and the young boy, emphasizing the devastating impact of violence on the community.
