On a cold winter day in Boston, tragedy struck a 32-year-old Hispanic man named Alexander Gonzales. On February 4, 2005, at 969 Commonwealth Avenue, Gonzales was shot. The Boston Police Department responded to a call about the shooting and found him at the scene. He was pronounced deceased, and his death was later determined to be a homicide by the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner.
