On a Tuesday night in March of 2016, the life of 30-year-old Hispanic man Armando Hernandez Jr. of Belmont, Massachusetts, was cut short in a sudden act of violence. The evening of March 22nd was shattered by the sound of multiple gunshots on Mt. Auburn Street in Cambridge, near the grounds of Mount Auburn Hospital. When the chaos subsided, Hernandez was found lying in the street, having sustained fatal injuries.
