In the fall of 2016, the life of 34-year-old Jorge Luis Aristi Viscaino was tragically cut short. On the evening of Sunday, October 16th, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Viscaino was in an alley behind a building on Haverhill Street when he was shot. The incident occurred at approximately 9:15 p.m.
Emergency services were called to the scene, and Viscaino was quickly transported to Lawrence General Hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Due to the severity of his condition, he was later transferred to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. Despite the efforts of medical staff, Jorge Luis Aristi Viscaino succumbed to his wounds and was pronounced dead at around 4:30 a.m. the following morning.
In the wake of the fatal shooting, law enforcement began an investigation into the circumstances surrounding Viscaino's death. Authorities confirmed that the case was being treated as a homicide. However, in the immediate aftermath of the incident, no arrests were made, and no suspects were publicly identified.
