Death by Force

On the night of July 4, 2017, the community of Pittsfield, Massachusetts, was shaken by violence that led to the death of Paul Eian LaVar Henry, a 39-year-old Black/African American male. Pittsfield Police responded to reports of a shooting near John Street and discovered Mr. Henry deceased at the scene. His death was investigated as the city's first homicide of the year.
