On a Sunday morning in October 2018, the life of 26-year-old Terrell White, a Black male from Boston, was tragically cut short. On October 7th, in the Mattapan neighborhood of Boston, White was the victim of a fatal shooting on Itasca Street. The incident was an apparent drive-by shooting and was witnessed by house painters who were working in the area at the time. The brazen nature of the daytime shooting sent shockwaves through the local community.
