On a Sunday evening in Springfield, Massachusetts, the life of 18-year-old Dhimani C. Rivera-Therrien was tragically cut short. On November 17, 2019, Rivera-Therrien, a recent graduate of Chicopee High School, was killed in an act of gun violence on Marlborough Street. The promising young man, who was known as a well-liked student and an active participant at the Boys & Girls Club of Chicopee, was remembered for his engaging personality and athletic talents, particularly in basketball.
