In the early morning hours of October 12, 2022, the Indian Orchard neighborhood of Springfield, Massachusetts, was shattered by an act of violence that claimed the lives of two men. Justice Kirkland, a 32-year-old Black/African American male, and Andre Yarns Jr., also 32, were fatally shot on the 200 block of Main Street.
