In the early morning hours of Sunday, November 3, 2019, Gabriel Irizarry, a 31-year-old man from Holyoke, was driving his vehicle on Interstate 91 North in Springfield, Massachusetts. Tragically, his journey was cut short in a senseless act of violence. Occupants of another vehicle opened fire on his car, striking him. The incident was witnessed by an on-duty Massachusetts State Police Trooper who was on patrol at the time.
