On a cold morning in Springfield, Massachusetts, the life of 29-year-old Hispanic male, Jorge Rivera-Ortiz, was tragically cut short. On January 27, 2022, at approximately 5 a.m., police officers responded to a call in the Indian Orchard neighborhood. There, they discovered Rivera-Ortiz inside a vehicle, unresponsive.
