On July 5, 2018, Corey D'Andre Drummer, a 34-year-old resident of Springfield, Massachusetts, succumbed to apparent gunshot wounds. The incident occurred on Westminster Street, where officers from the Springfield Police Department responded to a call and found Drummer suffering from the injuries.
