On August 31, 2022, Damonte Dancy, a 29-year-old resident of Roxbury, Boston, MA, was fatally shot in the area of Dale Street and Regent Street. The incident occurred around 8:20 p.m., marking one of the several violent crimes that took place in Boston during that period.
