Brian Duane Hill, 26, a Black male, was shot near the front of his North Portland home on the night of May 19, 1994, and died of his wounds on June 14, 1994. Just after 10:13 p.m., officers responding to reports of gunfire at 6435 North Gay Avenue found him gravely injured and rushed him to the hospital, where he fought for weeks before succumbing.
