On December 26, 2015, Joseph DiMatteo, a 69-year-old man, was found dead at his residence in Lyons, Oregon. The circumstances surrounding his death were startling, as it was his wife, Carolyn DiMatteo, who reported the incident to the authorities.

Carolyn DiMatteo called 911 and informed the dispatchers that she had shot and killed her husband. Following this call, law enforcement officers were promptly dispatched to the scene, where they found Joseph DiMatteo deceased inside their traile ...
