In the early morning hours of November 18, 2018, a disturbance at the Court Louise Apartments on Southeast Powell Boulevard in Portland, Oregon, turned deadly. Dominique Scott Eivers, a 41-year-old White / Caucasian male, was shot during the incident. He was privately transported to a local hospital but succumbed to his gunshot wound the following day, on November 19, 2018. The Oregon State Medical Examiner's Office later confirmed that his death was a homicide resulting from the gunshot injury.
