On August 20, 2021, Jonathon 'Johnny' Polanco, a 30-year-old man from Portland, Oregon, was tragically shot and killed in the parking lot of a convenience store located at the intersection of Southeast 92nd Avenue and Holgate Boulevard, near Lents Park.
