On September 14, 2014, Roland Howard Frazier, a 23-year-old resident of Beckley, West Virginia, lost his life to gun violence. The incident occurred at a home located on Maxwell Hill in Beckley, where a large party was in progress. According to investigators, the party turned violent when a fight broke out, and shots were fired, resulting in Frazier's fatal injuries.
