In the early morning hours of January 30, 2016, a life was tragically cut short in Bluefield, West Virginia. Dexter Cornelius Mitchell, a 35-year-old male, was killed outside of a local motel. Known to his friends and family as "DC," Mitchell was a beloved husband, father, son, and brother. He was born in Bluefield and had spent his life in the community, attending Bluefield High School and various colleges where he earned numerous certificates.
