In the winter of 2016, the life of a young White man, 27-year-old Burton Perry, was tragically cut short in Bluefield, West Virginia. On the first of December, Perry was found with a fatal gunshot wound, a violent end to a life that acquaintances would later describe as quiet and non-confrontational.
