On April 3, 2017, a tragic incident occurred in Raleigh County, West Virginia, resulting in the deaths of two individuals, including 77-year-old Billy Joe Collins. The event unfolded in the afternoon when West Virginia State Police responded to a shooting on Clear Fork Road in the Spruce Mountain area.
