In the late hours of a Wednesday night in Huntington, West Virginia, the life of Emmanuel Lopez III, a 26-year-old Black / African American male, was tragically cut short. On April 3, 2019, at approximately 11:50 p.m., Lopez was shot multiple times in the middle of the 2100 block of 11th Avenue. When investigators arrived at the scene, they found him lying in the street.
