In the quiet community of Hico, West Virginia, a heartbreaking event unfolded on July 12, 2019, leaving two people dead and a community in shock. Ricky Johnson, a 39-year-old Black / African American man, was found deceased in what law enforcement officials would later describe as a tragic murder-suicide.
