On December 28, 2019, a shooting incident resulted in the death of Charles Edward Allen, a 28-year-old man from Detroit, in Huntington, West Virginia. The incident occurred late in the evening when police responded to a shots fired call at approximately 10:15 p.m. in the 900 block of 28th Street. Upon arrival, officers found Charles Edward Allen deceased from a gunshot wound.
