In the winter of 2014, in Des Moines, Iowa, a domestic dispute turned fatal, ending the life of 68-year-old Jack Duane Dennis, a White male. On the evening of December 7th, police were called to a residence after receiving a 911 call from Pamela Bullington, Dennis's live-in girlfriend. Bullington reportedly informed the dispatcher that she had shot Dennis after he had punched her in the face.
