In the early morning hours of June 22, 2016, the life of 41-year-old Victor Robinson Jr., a Black male from Des Moines, Iowa, was tragically cut short. The incident unfolded just before 2 a.m. in the parking lot of the Summerwoods Apartment Complex located on the 3700 block of Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway.
