Sergeant Anthony David "Tony" Beminio, a 38-year-old officer with the Urbandale Police Department in Iowa, was fatally shot on November 2, 2016. The incident occurred shortly after 1:00 am when Beminio and another officer, Patrolman Justin Martin, were ambushed while sitting in their patrol cars.
