In the quiet town of West Union, Iowa, the life of a 27-year-old Caucasian woman, Morgan Elizabeth Kaye, was tragically cut short on the evening of March 21, 2016. Just before 9 p.m., the sound of gunshots shattered the peace near an apartment building on Linden Street. When Fayette County Sheriff's deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered Morgan lying on the ground outside the complex, having sustained a fatal gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
