Catherine "Kaydee" Bobbitt, a 33-year-old mother from Des Moines, Iowa, was fatally shot on April 3, 2020. The incident occurred while she was driving westbound on Kingman Boulevard, just blocks southwest of the Drake University campus. Her daughter, who was in the vehicle with her, was unharmed and immediately called 911 after the shooting.
