Yolanda Valdez, a 35-year-old Hispanic mother of three, was tragically killed on November 7, 2013, in a shooting that erupted in a Sioux City, Iowa, home. Known for her bubbly and outgoing personality, Valdez had been making plans to move from Orange City, Iowa, back to her home state of California. Her life was cut short when she was caught in the crossfire of a violent altercation stemming from a drug-related dispute.
