In the winter of 2023, the life of Sarah Anne Zoelle, a 31-year-old Caucasian woman from Sioux City, Iowa, was tragically cut short. On the night of Saturday, January 14th, a frantic 911 call was made from her home. On the line, Sarah pleaded for help, telling the dispatcher that her boyfriend, Austyn Self, was pointing a gun at her. The call took a horrifying turn when the dispatcher heard a gunshot, followed by Sarah's screams. Self then allegedly took the phone and uttered the words, "I shot ...
