In the quiet community of Camanche, Iowa, a confrontation on February 1, 2017, ended in the tragic death of 22-year-old Nicholas Luskey of Fulton, Illinois. The incident unfolded around 9:30 a.m. in the 610 block of 5th Avenue, where police responded to reports of gunfire.
