In the spring of 2017, the life of Jonathan Wieseler, a 34-year-old White/Caucasian male from Iowa City, Iowa, was tragically cut short. On the evening of April 23, 2017, Wieseler, a bail bondsman, was found deceased in his office, which also served as his residence. An autopsy would later confirm that he died from multiple gunshot wounds. The discovery of his body launched a homicide investigation that would eventually lead to an arrest and conviction.
