In the quiet expanse of Washington County, Utah, a grim discovery was made on the morning of February 5, 1998. The body of a 37-year-old White male, Anthony Ray Edwards, was found lying in the middle of a desolate dirt road just west of U.S. 91. A resident of Scenic, Arizona, it was determined that Edwards had died from multiple gunshot wounds. His death was officially ruled a homicide.
