On November 21, 2017, 19-year-old Hunter Woodson was fatally shot in his residence in Sunset, Utah. The incident stemmed from a drug transaction in which Woodson sold a mixture of kitchen spices, misrepresented as marijuana, to 17-year-old Seth J.D. Carreras. Upon discovering the deceit, Carreras confronted Woodson in his bedroom and shot him multiple times with a 9mm handgun, resulting in Woodson's death.
