Kayla Wright

In the winter of 2024, the life of 29-year-old Kayla Wright of Derby, Vermont, was tragically cut short. She was last seen in Troy on February 2, 2024. A few days later, on February 6, her body was discovered inside a large container, described as a truck-bed-style toolbox, on a sandbar in the Missisquoi River in Troy. An autopsy later confirmed that Kayla Wright had died from a gunshot wound to the head, and her death was ruled a homicide.
