On January 2, 1961, in Barre, Vermont, 29-year-old Huguette G. Constant was tragically killed in a murder-suicide orchestrated by her husband, Paul L. Constant. In the early hours, Paul fatally shot Huguette as she slept in their home at 42 Maple Avenue.
