On the evening of February 12, 2018, a gathering outside a residence in Clinton, Utah, turned deadly, leading to the shooting death of 21-year-old Deven Tomas Gallegos of North Ogden. The young man was not on the right path at all times, but he had a laugh and smile that could light up the darkest of rooms and had been saved in November of 2017.
