In the early morning hours of June 13, 2021, a verbal confrontation in downtown Salt Lake City tragically escalated, ending the life of 22-year-old England Sienna Pauulu. The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m. near 125 W. 300 South, where officers, hearing gunshots, found Pauulu on the ground with gunshot wounds. Despite receiving immediate medical assistance at the scene, he later succumbed to his injuries.
