In the early morning hours of September 29, 2021, in Murray, Utah, a suburb of Salt Lake City, the life of 22-year-old Carlos Jhovany Huerta-Garcia was tragically cut short. Emergency services received a call around 1:50 a.m. reporting a shooting at a residence located at 125 E. 4800 South. Upon arrival, police discovered Huerta-Garcia just inside the front door, suffering from a gunshot wound.
