In the quiet hours of a Saturday morning in Salt Lake City, on January 24, 2015, the life of Christian McDonald, a 24-year-old Caucasian male, was tragically cut short. A passing motorist discovered him lying wounded in the park strip alongside the street at 1224 E. Parkway Avenue. Medical personnel rushed to the scene and transported him to a nearby hospital, but his injuries, the result of a gunshot wound, proved fatal.
