On October 7, 2010, 27-year-old Jeanna Flores was fatally shot outside the Franklin Bar & Grille on Franklin Avenue in Hartford, Connecticut. The incident occurred shortly before 1 a.m., when Luis Sanchez opened fire on a group of individuals outside the establishment. Flores sustained a single gunshot wound to the head, resulting in her immediate death. Two men accompanying her were also shot but survived with non-life-threatening injuries.
