On a Thursday in June, the city of Waterbury, Connecticut, was rocked by the unexpected death of one of its own. Christopher D. Corbett, a 40-year-old Caucasian male and a respected Acting Deputy Police Chief, was found deceased on June 11, 2015. His death, which occurred at his parents' home, sent shockwaves through the community and the police department he had served for nearly two decades.
