On the night of May 16, 2016, 35-year-old Marshall Wiggins was fatally shot in East Hartford, Connecticut. Responding to reports of gunfire on Rector Street around 11:16 p.m., police discovered Wiggins inside a vehicle, suffering from gunshot wounds. He was immediately transported to Hartford Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
